INNOVOTEX to Unveil Groundbreaking Colorectal Cancer Data at AACR

We are excited to announce that INNOVOTEX has been selected to present cutting-edge data on its lead anticancer therapy, NOVO-111, at the highly anticipated 2025 American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting. This prestigious event, known as the cornerstone for the latest advancements in cancer research, brings together leading scientists, clinicians, health professionals, patients, and advocates from around the world to collaborate and share breakthroughs in cancer treatment and care.

“We are truly honored to have the opportunity to showcase the potential of NOVO-111 in transforming the treatment of aggressive cancers,” said Jonathan Arambula, Ph.D., CEO of INNOVOTEX. “This recognition underscores the promising role of our innovative approach in addressing the significant unmet needs of cancer patients.”

NOVO-111 is a next-generation macrocycle drug conjugate designed to directly target cancer cells and deliver a potent anticancer payload. With promising preclinical results, INNOVOTEX has successfully demonstrated the breakthrough mechanism of action (MOA) of NOVO-111, confirming its ability to selectively target the cancer ribosome and induce ribosome biogenesis stress—ultimately leading to the destruction of cancer cells. This mechanism has shown remarkable efficacy in preclinical colon cancer models, significantly extending overall survival in xenograft animal studies.

The data to be presented at AACR will also include detailed safety and pharmacokinetic findings, positioning NOVO-111 as a transformative therapeutic option for aggressive cancers. The therapy addresses a critical unmet need in the fight against cancers that have proven resistant to conventional treatments in colorectal cancers.

“Therapies like NOVO-111, with their ability to localize directly to tumors and minimize side effects, offer real hope for improving the quality of life for cancer patients with colorectal cancers,” said S. Gail Eckhardt, M.D., a GI medical oncologist, Scientific Advisory Board member and Associate Dean of Experimental Therapeutics at Baylor College of Medicine.

INNOVOTEX is an oncology therapeutics company focused on developing a novel platform of Macrocycle Drug Conjugates (MDCs) to treat solid tumors. The company’s lead clinical candidate, NOVO-111, targets the cancer ribosome and has demonstrated strong preclinical evidence of overcoming platinum-based resistance in various tumor models, leading to significant tumor regression. With its innovative approach, NOVO-111 has the potential to address critical unmet needs in several cancer indications, including colorectal, non-small cell lung, ovarian, and pancreatic cancers.
